About me

Hey everyone!

I’m Yousra El Adraoui, an 18-year-old Moroccan architecture student on team 12 in group E. In order to study, I relocated to Valencia.

The only quote that I actually think defines me is:

“I believe in doing the right things; that is my character and personality.” Gianluigi Buffon

That’s because I’ve always been the responsible one in my group of friends, the good child who always obeys the rules and makes the correct choices.

My parents purchased me a giant marker board and put it in my room so I could draw because as a little child, I used to get in trouble for painting on the walls. My family’s positive feedback about my drawings encouraged me to keep improving, and my parents’ generous gifts of art tools allowed me to express my creativity.

Here are some of my drawings:

I opted to study architecture because it was the only subject that made sense to me. I’ve always been interested in art and craft, and becoming an architect allows me to express my creativity in various ways. As time went on, I became increasingly interested in how architecture could impact how we live, our emotions, and our behavior. Studying it is the only way to come close to this.

And I believe that choosing to study architecture at Valencia’s Polytechnic University was the best choice I’ve ever made. I’m happy and eager to try this and get new talents.
